Hi, my friend and I are trying to play dead rising 2 together and we both have live accounts and are friends, but we can't figure out how to start a multiplayer co-op game of dead rising 2. We can't seem to invite each other. It's a separate save. When you join a co-op, the ONLY thing taken from your game is your Chuck's level, PP amount, and moneys. You can safely play co-op, then return to where you left off in single player. (Provided you saved before co-oping) And of course, whatever story progress you make in co-op AS 2nd player isn't saved. Sorry. to start a co-op game u need to load into your saved game then after your loaded in to your game hold c then it should show online friends. you can only inv your friends if your friend is in deadrising 2. to invite them when u hold down c and it says your friend is in the menu it should say press enter to send inv just click enter and they should join unless your game is private then u have to Dead Rising 2 had the OG game, OTR and Case West with co-op.
